The world's only student-led multidisciplinary case competition, bringing engineering and business students together to solve real-world cases.
Who Can Participate
Multidisciplinary teams of four students from engineering and business programs around the world are invited to compete.
The Experience

Competition Format
Multidisciplinary teams of four students compete in three real-world cases: two 6-hour cases and one intense 12-hour case.

2026–2027 Timeline
ENGCOMM 101
An introduction to ENGCOMM and the world of case competitions. Students learn the fundamentals of case solving, hear practical presentation tips, work through a mini-case, receive live feedback, and connect with fellow participants and industry representatives.
ENGCOMMX Networking Cocktail
The ENGCOMMX Networking Cocktail brings competitors, corporate partners, alumni, and the ENGCOMM community together ahead of the final stage of the local competition. Participants can connect with industry professionals, hear from past ENGCOMM participants, and see the live announcement of the teams advancing to Case 2.
ENGCOMMX
ENGCOMMX is ENGCOMM's local case competition, giving students the opportunity to apply their case-solving, teamwork, and presentation skills in a competitive setting. Teams tackle a real-world business challenge, develop recommendations under time pressure, and present their solutions to a panel of judges.
ENGCOMM World
ENGCOMM's flagship international competition brings multidisciplinary teams of engineering and business students from universities around the world to Montréal. Across six days, participants tackle intensive real-world cases, present to industry professionals and expert judges, and build global connections through competition, networking, and social experiences.
