President

Luqman Hakim is a dedicated 4th-year aerospace engineering student with a passion for interdisciplinary collaboration and leadership. As President of ENGCOMM, he brings strategic vision and commitment to fostering real-world learning experiences, bridging engineering and business to prepare students for impactful careers in industry.


 

Orina-Cherina Nsumu

Executive Vice-President

Orina is a 4th year Building Engineering student specializing in Building Energy and Environment. She has been involved with ENGCOMM for the past 2 years. As the Executive Vice-President of ENGCOMM, she aims to build meaningful relationships that drive the organization's growth while ensuring the successful achievement of its mission: bridging the engineering industry to the business world. She is dedicated to enriching the ENGCOMM experience maximizing its value for all parties involved.

Joerex Thambaiah

VP Corporate

Joerex Thambaiah is a 4th-year computer engineering student with an interest in engineering and business. As the VP of Corporate Relations at ENGCOMM, he aims to increasing the network on sponsors and bring Concordia University to an international scale of recognition


 

Idris Drouiche

Director Corporate

Idris is a third-year Software Engineering student who is strongly committed to advancing ENGCOMM’s mission of connecting the engineering and business worlds. As part of the corporate team, he focuses on building partnerships by securing sponsorships that resonate with ENGCOMM’s goals and values. Idris is dedicated to driving the organization’s growth and ensuring valuable experiences for all involved.


 

Careen Mina

Director Corporate

Careen Mina is a 3rd year student at the JMSB, majoring in Supply Chain Management. As the Director of Corporate Relations at ENGCOMM, she is dedicated to expanding the organization's network by building strong connections with industry leaders. She aims to leverage her growing network to secure valuable sponsorships and partnerships, ensuring ENGCOMM's continued success and international recognition as a bridge between business and engineering.

John Compuesto

Vp Marketing

John Compuesto, VP Marketing of ENGCOMM, leads strategic initiatives to amplify the competition's global impact. As the founder of Core Vizuals, a creative agency, and with his expertise in digital marketing, event promotion, and UI/UX, he is dedicated to revolutionizing case competitions and creating unforgettable experiences for aspiring business and engineering leaders.


 

Dan Mai Hosi

Director Marketing

Mai Hosi is a second-year Mechanical Engineering student and the Director of Marketing at ENGCOMM. Driven by creativity and innovation, Mai leads brand initiatives and campaigns that bring ENGCOMM’s mission to life, bridging the gap between business and engineering.


 

Jenny Vu

AVP Content Creation

Jenny Vu, Assistant Vice-President of Content Creation for ENGCOMM, is a third-year Business Technology Management student at Concordia University. She leads creative strategies to showcase the competition’s unique value and engage participants worldwide.


 

Jocelyn Ha

AVP Content Creation

Jocelyn is a 4th year Industrial Engineering student. A past delegation ambassador, she has returned to ENGCOMM as the Assistant Vice-President of Content Writing and Graphic Design. Jocelyn strongly believes in the vision of ENGCOMM and the value it can bring to students of all disciplines.

Shehroz Ahsan

 Shehroz is a finance major with a strong passion for financial strategy and analysis. As the Vice President of Finance at ENGCOMM, he oversees financial planning and ensures the competition runs smoothly from a fiscal perspective. His goal is to ensure ENGCOMM continues to provide a transformative experience for participants, sponsors, and stakeholders alike.

Isabelle Chahine

Isabelle is a 4th year Computer Science - Health and Life Sciences student, serving as the Vice President of Operations for ENGCOMM. With 2 years of experience in the organization, she oversees the event logistics and scheduling by leveraging her organizational and critical thinking skills, to provide a strong foundation for connecting business and engineering students.

 

Hadjer Oubagha

Hadjer serves as the Director of Operations for ENGCOMM

As an accounting student, she is deeply passionate about the transformative potential of blending technology and finance to drive innovation. With organizational skills and commitment to create efficient systems, Hadjer is excited to ensure smooth operations and contribute to a dynamic and inspiring experience for all participants this year.

Athéna Le-Tran

Athéna is an Economics student, with a passion for creative marketing and community engagement. As the VP of Events, she aims to bridge the gap between young professionals and both business and engineering industries, through fun, engaging and one-in-a-lifetime experiences. With experience in organizing events and leadership, Athéna is committed to innovate and pave the way for the next generations of ENGCOMM events.

 

Kaïna Benhammou

Director Events

Kaïna is the Director of Events for ENGCOMM. A finance major and data intelligence minor at Concordia University, she brings experience in project management and event coordination. Passionate about fostering collaboration and innovation, she is excited to create impactful and memorable experiences for all participants this year.

Amal Benzaïd

Vp External

Amal, a 3rd-year Building Engineering student specializing in Building Energy and Environment, returns to ENGCOMM as Vice President of External Affairs after two years of experience. She’s excited to build new connections with external schools and believes ENGCOMM is a unique asset for students passionate about bridging engineering and business, offering unmatched opportunities to grow in both fields.

Natasha is a 3rd year Building Engineering student and the Director of External for ENGCOMM. Natasha focuses on expanding ENGCOMM’s global reach by building relationships with universities and encouraging new schools to participate in the competition.

Christen is a 3rd year Building Engineering student with two years of experience in ENGCOMM. As the Vice President of Partnerships, Christen’s goal is to build solid communication channels with returning schools. By organizing and attending events, Christen is expanding ENGCOMM’s reach both locally and globally, all while maintaining a strong connection with its alumni network.

Sandra is the Director of Partnership for ENGCOMM. A Finance student, she is passionate about bringing engineering and commerce together to spark innovation. Sandra is excited to use her drive and strategic mindset to build partnerships that will make this year’s ENGCOMM a memorable experience for everyone involved.

As VP of Academics for ENGCOMM 2025, he is focused on fostering a rigorous, dynamic environment for participants and judges, aiming to elevate the competition’s standards and its real-world relevance for all involved


 

Sameeta Bansal

Sameeta is a second-year student at JMSB majoring in the accounting program. As director of academics, she aims to elevate the overall academic experience and strives to create a transformative and impactful experience for all participants. Sameeta is driven to bridge the gap between business and engineering, ensuring that EngComm continues to grow and thrive as a platform that connects these two dynamic fields.



FIRST YEAR REPRESENTATIVE

Kira Dias

Kira, a recent graduate from McGill University with a Bachelor’s in Architecture and a minor in Environmental Engineering, is now a first-year Civil Engineering student. Passionate about sustainability, teamwork, and finance, she joined ENGCOMM as the First Year Representative to connect with peers, attract students to explore student life, and introduce her cohort to case competitions.
