SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

The Engineering and Commerce Case Competition (ENGCOMM) is dedicated to giving students a unique experience by showcasing our sponsor companies in innovative and interesting ways. Over the years, ENGCOMM has collaborated on a number of events with a variety of sponsors, all with the objective of presenting a fresh and unique view on what major businesses can be when they are not in the limelight of normal business discussion. Bringing university students and businesses from varying industries and sizes can lead to long-lasting connections. ENGCOMM is thrilled to be able to offer students and companies this unique opportunity to collaborate.

Every year, we host two competitions:

  • ENGCOMM WORLD

  • ENGCOMM x MONTREAL

BENEFITS FOR SPONSORS

VISIBILITY

As an international competition, we’ve had the pleasure to host universities from Canada, USA, Mexico, Ireland, South Africa, Egypt, Israel, and Saudi Arabia, and are currently expanding this list further.

By partnering with us, your brand will be promoted as a partner through our various marketing channels. These include, but are not limited to, traditional media, banners, on site video advertising, social media, website, and promotional gear.

ACCESS TO TALENT

ENGCOMM strives to strengthen the communication channels between business and engineering. The competition’s structure provides a setting for students to develop valuable interdisciplinary communication skills. These skills are becoming more essential in a growing number of working environments.

ENGCOMM understands the recruitment challenges companies face. The competition offers a unique approach to the recruitment process. Our corporate partners are invited to judge during case presentations, and they can see first hand how the participants react under pressure. Our partners also receive the working resumes of all our students.

LEADERSHIP

As a non-for-profit organization, ENGCOMM partners with major student associations representing Business and Engineering at a provincial, national, and international level. By partnering with us, you will be directly involved with the spirit of the competition and furthermore, the leaders of tomorrow.

This is a great opportunity to get involved with the development of a global community that is growing exponentially.

TESTIMONIALS

The competition is absolutely the best way to find new engineering talent and that is our desire — to find engineers that understand business aspects and are able to work on a team.

Over the course of that week, I see a group of nervous young people grow into professionals. Teams are producing solutions to cases that are spot-on with what is currently being done in industry.

The Concordia ENGCOMM team was extremely professional creating a high-quality competition allowing development and exposure of future talents. For the reasons above, the energy, the passion and the dedication of the students, Siemens is proud to support this great case competition.

I worked with Concordia University’s Engineering and Commerce Case Competition (ENGCOMM) event. I was one of the sponsors, and [the ENGCOMM] team put on a first-rate event. It was incredible — better than most commercial events that I have attended over the years. I’m looking forward to V2.0 this year!

What a treat to judge at ENGCOMM. It was so refreshing to take part in this well organised competition. I loved hearing the enthusiasm of the participants – they are definitely tomorrow’s leaders. I specifically enjoyed how they used creativity to find innovative solutions to the problems. Looking forward to participating again.
